Oh, wat a windy day today. Gives me inspiration to blog, i guess~
This wind seems to bring me back in time 10 years back, when i lived in Aljunied. Then i was like 5 stayin in a small 3 room flat with blue-and-white tiled floors and white walls with a Guan
Yin altar in the living room. Back then the metal door was slide open instead of pushin it or pullin it de. It was copper orange and a wooden block was placed below to prevent insects and other animals from crawlin in. The windows were also like those in our classrooms, its black and is shift up and down to open de. Den there was this huge toshiba tv at the corner of the living room. The sofas are wooden with planks on the bottom and cushions covering on top. It was kinda cram for like 8 person to stay in but it was sure nice. Back then i wasn't a fan of sleeping and hates to be forced to bed at 9 pm, where the show 'My Date With A Vampire' was showin (i gt excellent memory). Durin tat time shows about jumpin vampires are like everywhere and i lovveeeeeeddddd them. The best is when my grandma starts playin those vids i will often run in and out of the room when there r some scary parts. This is probably the reason y i m kinda scared of ghost when i m young, and my parents like to use this as an excuse to make me sleep, like 'Can u c the ghost in the toilet? If u dun sleep i m gonna trap u in there' kind of thins. Sht, i was jus 5 then!
And yeah, my memory only brings me back thins 1o years ago, i cant go beyond 3 or 2, maybe abit nia la. And then the best among all is the playground. My eldest aunt(or 姑妈) always bring me and my nieces downstairs to play de playground de. Back then the 'playground' is jus huge mushrooms and ladybugs that r used for sittin down or somthin de. I dunno y, but i jus find it fun runnin around and standin and jumping from them. The real playground den even interest me as much. Thats actually my aunt's house, my house is in Pasir Ris, a 5 room flat with a balcony tat linked to a room and a kitchen tat linked to another room. But besides playin toys and watching TV series such as the 'Condor Heroes' (神鵰俠侶) by Christopher Lee and Fann Wong (i still remember!) and playin wif my den baby brother, everythin was damn borin. But watever, everythin all happened in the past, and i wasn't those type tat hugs them and never let it go. But i still wanted to go back to the Aljunied house, which has been sold away like 5 or 6 years ago, too bad. Hey, i mean everyone has a childhood rite, like watchin the mad damn borin Barney and the not so borin Sesame Street. Dun tell me u never watch them b4?
Ok, gonna stop nw. Enjoyin the comfortin cold wind blowin in through the window...woots, a time where there is no homeworks, no need study and no complicated thoughts and feelin...heh, feel kinda sad 4 those new age children, who grown up playin com instead. Should enjoy reality when u r young, cause u wun enjoy them anymore when u grow up.
